Work With Me

So What The Heck Do You Do With All This Grief?

Grief is messy. Unpredictable. It doesn't play by any rules.

And after years of living with grief myself and helping others through it, here's what I know: You can't fix grief. And ignoring it doesn't make it go away.

But you can learn to live with it without letting it take over your life.

And I'd love to show you how.

Ways We Can Work Together

1:1 Grief Coaching

Give your grief the attention it deserves.

Grief can turn your whole world upside down. Yet somehow, life expects you to carry on as though it's business as usual.

With me, your grief doesn't have to take a back seat.

Together, we'll give attention to what you've lost, what life looks like now, and where you could use some relief. I'll help you find ways to live with grief without feeling swallowed by it - and make room for more than just getting through the day.

Grief Support Groups

Find comfort in being with people who get it.

You can be surrounded by caring people and still feel terribly alone in your grief.

But in a support group, even the loneliest parts of grief can create connection.

You hear someone say the very thing you thought only you felt. And suddenly, you're not so alone anymore.

In these intimate groups, I'll support you with your own grief while you discover the comfort, connection, and sometimes unexpected laughter that can come from being together.

A note for Colorado residents: I also offer therapy for clients who need to use their insurance, on a case-by-case basis. Feel free to ask me about it when we talk.

Grief Relief: A DIY Program

When grief gets heavy, you don't have to feel helpless.

Maybe you woke up feeling okay, and now you're crying in the grocery store. Or you've spent the whole day trying to hold it together, and you're exhausted.

Grief Relief gives you eight easy-to-follow modules filled with practical tools to help you handle the hard moments, understand what you're feeling, ease some of the tension you're carrying, and find little pockets of joy along the way.

Go at your own pace, use what helps, and come back whenever you need to. You'll have more ways to care for yourself, even on the really hard days.

For the Caregivers

Your grief deserves attention, too.

When you're caring for someone who's sick, injured, or living with a life-changing condition, everyone wants to know how they're doing.

But who's asking how you're doing?

You can love someone with your whole heart and still grieve the life you're living now - and the future you thought you'd have.

I live with this kind of grief every day. And while I support people through all kinds of loss, caregivers have a special place in my heart.

That's why I offer support that puts your needs front and center for a change.

Sometimes talking helps. Sometimes you need something else.

After Michael's accident, even art - something I'd always turned to - stopped helping me the way it used to.

That taught me something important: grief changes, and what helps us through it needs to change, too.

That's why I draw from different approaches. Because what helps you get through a terrible Tuesday might be completely different from what you need six months from now. And I want you to have options when the things that used to help just aren't working anymore.

CONVERSATION

Talk openly about the things you haven't dared say out loud. The anger, the guilt, the thoughts that surprise even you. Nothing is off-limits. We'll make room for the complicated feelings, the uncomfortable questions, and even the occasional laugh.

CREATIVE EXPRESSION

Use art, drawing, and other creative practices to express what words can't quite capture, including Guided Drawing, a practice that combines art with nervous system support.

No artistic talent required.

RITUAL & CEREMONY

Not every loss comes with a funeral or a way to mark what happened. Create personal rituals and meaningful ceremonies to honor what you've lost, acknowledge what's changed, and give those losses the recognition they may never have received.

NATURE

There's more to nature than fresh air and a pretty view. Discover how to draw on the natural world for grounding, perspective, and support, whether we're walking together or simply paying attention to what's around us.

SPIRITUAL EXPLORATION

Sometimes the support you need isn't something you can see or touch. Explore ways to call on your intuition, connect with your ancestors, and turn to spiritual practices like divination for guidance and comfort.

BODY-CENTERED PRACTICES + EMDR

Grief can leave your body tense, exhausted, or constantly on edge. Body-centered practices and EMDR offer ways to work with what talking alone can't reach.

No two people grieve the same way. And what helps you today might be different from what helps you tomorrow. Use art, drawing, and other creative practices to express what words can't quite capture, including Guided Drawing, a practice that combines art with nervous system support.
